Tianguis Turistico 2012 Puerto Vallarta

This March the Tianguis Turístico 2012 will be held in Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit; the official logo was presented a few days ago and here is a brief explanation:
The significance of the logo goes back to elements of our culture, colors and forms give a characteristic symbolism where the ring represents the emblem element of the ball game, a ritual that extended for about 3,000 years of Mesoamerican and Pre-Columbian history. Inside the ring are elements such as a pyramid, representing our culture and roots, leaves representing the natural characteristics of our country; the hands that symbolize negotiations; five diamonds that represent the quality of the touristic destination and Mexico itself; and the waves representing the sea as the symbolism of the event being held in a beach resort destination.
Once again Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit want to show they are a cultural destination, with excellent service and worthy of hosting international events such as the Tianguis Turístico.

Published by under Español,Prudential Vallarta

Things That Change Your Life

Published by under Prudential Vallarta

There are many things that are life-changing in this world, but other than the major occurrences like births, deaths, marriage and divorce, purchasing electronics can totally send you off in another direction.

We used to ask ourselves what did we do before we had computers, then internet, and now it is BB smartphones-playbook, Apple ipad-pod-phone and Android-everything.   The information highway has a new speed limit and it now allows you to travel at warp-speed to anywhere you want to go.

Whether you are a stay-at-home-mom, a big business tycoon or something in between, you want to stay connected.  Young people today have no concept of a world before cyberspace.  For others, we’ve come a long way, baby.  There is something for everyone and anything.  Travel gadgets that you just can’t live without or, get this, a watch mobile phone  for those who can’t be bothered.

Whatever your level of cyber-smarts, remember, what happens in Vegas, stays on Facebook… forever.

Prudential Agent Grace Ramirez Rocks!

To Whom It May Concern:

Grace Ramirez was a true asset in the sale of my condo and during the weeks following till I was completely out and gone. The buyer caused a few turmoil’s in the transaction that were not to my liking, but Grace was there to keep the peace and calm the storm for both sides.  She is upfront with her thinking, honest, responsible, considerate, on time, and a pleasure to be around.

I was at a loss as to what to do with my blind, 17 year old cat. I was unable to take him with me after I moved out of my condo. Grace was thoughtful and kind enough to find him a home. She even took him herself to his new home, checked on him about 2 weeks later and let me know how he was doing.  To add to that – I needed someone to drive with me to the US.

She found me a very reliable driver – unbeknownst to her, I already had someone.  I don’t know of any realtor who would go that far out of their business way to do all that.

After relating my experience to my friends in Nuevo Vallarta, I have had several requests for her E-mail and phone number.

Thank you – Grace – for being my realtor.

Jova Summary

Everything is as usual for the month of October after the threatening storm that had been lingering for more than 48 hours “Jova”.

There are sunshine and blue skies in Puerto Vallarta and the whole Bay of Banderas.

We are all relief that the Hurricane lost strength as it entered land and the magical Sierra Madre Mountains lowered its tremendous winds. It gracefully went away leaving little or no rain behind.

In difference to Kena, this time we were all prepared and ready. Services continued as normal, there were no power outs or lack of water services.

We are all extremely thankful that our area was safe from any drastic impact from what at some point was considered a Hurricane degree 3.

We invite everyone to visit us as the weather begins to change and cool morning breezes are felt throughout the Bay.

Remember we are here to help you find your piece of Paradise.

Parapan American Games

The Parapan American Games are the Pan American competitions for athletes with certain physical, mental or sensorial disability. They took place for the first time in Mexico City in 1999, with the participation of one thousand athletes from 18 countries in 4 competitions.

A motivating factor for the participants is that the Parapan American Games are a qualifying event for the Paralympic Games.

This year the games will be held from 12 to 20 November in Guadalajara, with an estimated one thousand 500 athletes who will compete in 13 different sports. Twenty-six countries will be present in this new chapter in the success story of the Parapan American Games.

The participants of these games are well-aware that their performance and results are key for their classification for London 2012.

These are the categories:

  • Goalball
  • Judo
  • Boccia
  • Table tennis
  • Swimming
  • Cycling
  • Fotball 5
  • Powerlifting
  • Wheelchair basketball
  • Wheelchair tennis
  • Archery
  •  Athletics
  • Sitting volleyball

The effort and tenacity of these athletes is really remarkable. Their disabilities are no obstacle to stand out and be the best sports people in their categories.

Well done!!
